About Mine Gur

The Law Office of Mine Gur has helped countless businesses and families navigate the complicated immigration and naturalization processes. Mine Gur has represented over one hundred corporations, having successfully processed thousands of immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions for their employees.

Mine started her own practice in August 2009. She extended its personalized client-driven business immigration practice with an office in New York City. When it comes to employees’ immigration-related needs in such industries as finance, hospitality, banking, IT services, textile, travel, manufacturing, energy, multi-media and technology, Mine guides her clients to obtain temporary and permanent (green card) visas for business, scientific, managerial and executive personnel. Through her substantial experience with all work-related visa classifications (H-1B, H-3, L-1A, L-1B, E-1, E-2, TN, O, P), she is able to provide both short-term and long-term strategic guidance in the employer/employee relationship. Her representation also includes that of outstanding researchers, extraordinary foreign nationals, and those seeking national interest waivers.

Mine Gur has been a resident of the U.S. since 2004. She holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the Marmara University School of Law and a master’s degree from the Boston University School of Law. After graduating, she relocated to San Francisco and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2008.

Mine Gur is a licensed attorney and an active member of the Istanbul Bar Association in Turkey. After graduating from law school in Istanbul, she worked in the Koc Holding law department and gained significant experience dealing with international commercial transactions, trade, and copy mark disputes and contracts.

In addition to offering traditional in-bound business immigration services, she coordinates with foreign lawyers to arrange work permits for US Actors, Filmmakers, Directors, Artists, IT Professionals, and other high-end professionals who are stationed outside the US.

Mine Gur assists physicians and scientists with the complexities of U.S. immigration and employment laws as they pertain to science and medicine. She provides a full range of immigration and employment services to individual physicians and scientists, medical/scientific research organizations, and companies. For her corporate clients, she takes pride in providing expert guidance regarding I-9 Audits, LCA Compliance Audits, PERM-Based Labor Certifications, and AC 21 ACWIA Anti-Competitiveness Provisions.
